Clubhouse Callouts

Issue 02

Welcome to our new series, Clubhouse Callouts, wherein we share your exciting news with The Assembly community. We want to help you celebrate your successes! This can be personal, professional, fitness-related, or just something you’re proud to share. You can also submit something exciting on another member’s behalf. Update us here and check back to see what our awesome community conquers next.

Jaime Alexis did a 30-day challenge with friends. Her choice: be in bed between 9:30-9:45. She didn’t quite make it all 30 days (being in an Accelerator makes that a little trickier), but when she did, she was so much more energetic and positive! She’s doing it again and welcome any Assembly members to join in! (Connect on email: jaimealexis@empowerwork.org)

Sarah Ewick & Katie Hintz-Zambrano of In Good Company are excited to share that tickets are live for their 2018 conference! Katie (Founder) and Sarah (Partnerships Director) invite Assembly members to the one-day conference that features thought provoking panels and keynote speeches by industry leaders, all focused on motherhood and entrepreneurship. Be sure to check out their new website (with speaker announcements and more!) and grab a ticket while you can!

Sophie Speer just launched a Kickstarter for her company, ripen: a new way to gather. Good luck, Sophie!

Majo Molfino just launched the new season of the Heroine podcast. On Heroine, discover female legends, badasses, and rule-breakers who will make you laugh, weep, and feel alive again. Eavesdrop on real, vulnerable, intimate conversations, like listening to two good friends talk over a cup of tea or glass of wine. “We go deep.” Can’t wait to give it a listen!

Jo Piazza & Meena Harris are hosting and an event at Hero Shop in celebration of Jo’s new book ‘Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win”. Part of the proceeds will go towards Meena’s Phenomenal Woman Campaign. Thursday Sept 27th from 6-8pm. (All are welcome!)

Congratulations to our two Assembly brides Sylvie Greenberg (getting married 9/22) and Bonnie Kaufman (getting married 9/29). Best wishes from your Assembly family!
